Exposed bone cross leg flap being in setted At one week post op First dressing after division flap and skin graft in situ healed flap and healing graft wound healing at 2 weeks healed donor site healed wounds patient suffered gun shot injury due to which popliteal artery injury which was repaired by a vascular surgeon . Patient had a stormy post op course with multiple debridement done as a result patient lost lot of muscle in all compartment of leg. He had a exposed bone and lot of wounds which needed cover . Two months after the injury patient was planned for reconstructive surgery, during this time VAC dressing was applied . CT Angio showed that repaired artery is patent and venous drainage was superficial veins ruling out any microvascular surgery. So decision was taken to do cross leg flap.
